Composite material evolves from combining two or more components, resin (the matrix) and fabric (the armor) in various formations. Components of the composite material tend to vary in their chemical compositions, shapes and characteristics, and can't be solvent one in the other. Creation of various compositions enables reception of optimal combination of synergetic superior characteristics, which cannot be found separately in each one of the components.

Selected fiber and fabric are being absorbed in resins in various manufacturing methods in order to create a matrix with unique mechanical, physical and chemical characteristics.
